4th dan Hanmudo, 1st dan Taekwondo

Master Instructor Adi works with Nikki Banham and son Adam at 2006 Dutch seminar.
 
Adrian started training in Taekwondo in 1974 under Master Richard Cox, achieved 7th Keup under Master Kwon Young-Woo and then stopped training for a few years until he restarted  with Master Banham in1981. It was then he met Joan, his wife of 19 years who also holds a 1st dan in Taekwondo. Adi and Joan have two children - Jaqueta, who is 17 and Adam who is 11. Adam is currently Junior Black Belt. Adrian took 1st degree Taekwondo in 1986 under Master Cox, Master Banham and Master Henry Chaplin. 
 
He started training in Han Mu Do as soon as it was brought to England and was graded by Do Ju Nim to 1st degree black belt in 1994, at the first black belt grading to be held in Europe. He took 2nd degree black belt in 1998 and 3rd degree in 2002 at European Headquarters in Uden, Netherlands. He has been teaching for about 19 of the 21 years that he has been training in the martial arts and runs the Cromer Hanmudo school. Adrian received 4th dan at the October 2005 seminar in Norwich.
